The prayer is loving act of God it's a precious and familiar conversation with Him. The prayer is a way of suggesting temporal benefits, with are necessary to our present life. They who beg our Lord with a true Christian spirit always subordinate their own will to God's one even if they merely pray because of being pushed by necessity; only God knows what is really necessary is our present life. After all the preyer is an action of thanking. It's way of recognizing the received benefits in order to offer all our works God so that the prayer is continuous.
